I stayed in a lovely hotel on Patong Beach called Paragon Resort Hotel and Spa.
Here's some pics of the SMALL room I had!
They seem to like their hatched windows into/out of the bathrooms over here!
And what a nice bathroom it was too:
As well as a mini bar they also had a lot of other "Products" on sale in the room!!

And the hotel was only a few meters from Paton Beach
Just like Bangkok they had a lot of Markets and restaurants, with it being a small island so near the sea much to my distaste there were a lot of fish restaurants :( And you could choose your fish as you walked and they'd cook it for you!
They had a lot of large tubs on the pavements filled with water, when I went close to see what they were there were all sorts of different crabs in them!!
All in all Phuket is a bit more laid back than Bangkok, but it's got a kind of Blackpool feel to it :)
